Gerry Rempel Jazz Syndicate
The Gerry Rempel Jazz Syndicate is a seven piece jazz-fusion group based in Eugene, Oregon. Featuring a wide array of stylistic influences they have performed at many festivals and concerts over the last few years. The group was also featured in the Ballet Fantastique’s Parisian production “Pride and Prejudice” and in late February, a variation of the group “the Gerry Rempel Ensemble” played with the Ballet Fantastique’s “Dragon and the Night Queen” production at the Hult Soreng Theater to three sold out shows.
“Fabulous music is the glue that binds wonderful ‘Dragon’ ballet. The production” used live music, which was exciting as well as lovely.” Gerry has composed a number of tunes for these productions including “the Priestess”, Moulin Bleu”, “the Sirena and the Dragon”, Les Etoiles Overture”, String Theory” and others. — From the Register Guard
